Life Source is North Sydney's prenatal yoga hub, offering specialised yoga classes with postures that are specially adapted to suit your needs during each stage of pregnancy with the guidance of experienced specialist teachers.
Yoga is highly recommended during pregnancy as it is the ideal exercise as it promotes relaxation, flexibility and strength in a gentle and manageable way.
The body is particularly intelligent and responsive during pregnancy and it adapts perfectly to these practices. Many women find yoga transforms their experience from a time of weakness and discomfort to one where you feel confident, healthy, strong and empowered. Our clients report that common complaints associated with pregnancy are often eased or disappear altogether as a result of practising yoga. The techniques learnt also prepare you for childbirth.
Prenatal yoga courses start each week. If you are new to yoga, we advise you begin after the first trimester. Sign up for the class you will attend the most but once you are registered you can swap between classes as you wish. No experience is require as we assume you have never done yoga before and never had a baby.
Investment: 8 week course is $150 for 8 classes (please call about casual options).
