ALARICE
Alarice began practicing yoga since 2003 and has found that this practice has slowly developed into a new way of living, and a more holistic way of being. She approaches teaching through her wish to share her experience and love for yoga with her students.
Alarice incorporates her artistic background and passion for yoga in her classes teaching a creative, flowing and dynamic style of hatha yoga. Bringing readings, music, meditation, principles of alignment, pranayama (breathing techniques) & yogic philosophy together to create a special and safe experience in every class.

ALI
An experienced personal trainer and yoga teacher, Ali escaped the corporate life to follow her passion. Together with her Certificate III and IV in personal training, she has completed an intensive Ashtanga Yoga teacher training course and is qualified to teach beginner to advanced students. To further her knowledge and understanding of Yoga, she is currently completing a three year diploma in Satyananda Yoga teacher training.
With particular focus on breath, bandas and drishiti, Ali helps her students become aware of their body posture, alignment and patterns of movement. Her classes concentrate on body balance, core strength and flexibility to provide the foundation for her students' practice. This results in relaxed bodies and minds which are better able to cope with the stresses of daily life.

ANGELA
An 'accidental yogi' -- Angela first started yoga as a favour for a friend who was undergoing his teacher training. Soon, she was impressed by the mental, physical and spiritual benefits of yoga, and started using yoga as a means to balance her hectic life in the corporate world. Since then, she has studied yoga in Singapore and Australia, before completing her teacher training with Christina Brown in Sydney. Angela teaches Hatha and dynamic flow classes, with a strong focus on aligment to guide students in and out of the poses safely. Her classes are infused with meditation and breathing practices, and most importantly laughter. Students find themselves finishing her class with toned and stretched muscles, a calm and relaxed mind, and a smile on their faces. For someone who discovered her innate ability and passion for yoga fairly late in life, Angela believes that the same could be true for others. "It's never too late to start." |

CHRISTINA
Naturopath and yoga teacher Christina Brown lives and breathes the philosophy of a natural life. Christina has practiced yoga for more than 20 years and been teaching since 1996. She has many years of experience teaching women both during their pregnancies and after. Christina is director of the teacher training program at Life Source. She is a trained naturopath and the author of many books on yoga including the bestselling Yoga Bible: The Definitive Guide to Yoga Postures. Christina believes passionately in the power of yoga as an aid to a good pregnancy and a brilliant help to a good birthing experience. Christina is adoring mother to Safia.

EMMA
Emma has practiced yoga since 1998 focusing mainly on Ashtanga and Hatha Yoga. She was impressed straight away by the benefits to her body and general health. Over time she developed a deep appreciation for the self healing abilities of various yoga practices, not just physical but into the mental realm. Emma’s classes are a flowing hatha style and she loves offering more challenge to students who need it. A varied repertoire allows her to offer students a class strong enough to meet their needs and interesting enough to continue to develop their practice. Emma’s forte is in giving students a delightful relaxing close to their class through various guided and healing meditations.

GABRIELLE
Since being introduced to yoga 15 years ago in Thailand the yogic path opened to Gabrielle. It was during pregnancy when yoga played an integral part in her preparations for the transformation – physically, mentally and spiritually, that she chose to share the practice with others.
Gabrielle teaches Sadhana hatha, Sadhana vinyasa, pre-natal and shamanic yoga. She values a daily practice and enjoys sharing her love of yoga while witnessing the transformation it brings to her students. She believes that through practice, focus and evolution we can create the opportunities in our lives that we desire.

JACKIE
Jackie has studied and actively practised yoga for over sixteen years. She lived in Tokyo for many years and it is there that she completed her ISHTA style Hatha yoga teacher training and began teaching. Jacqui went on to complete an additional yoga teacher training with the International Yoga Teachers Association.
Embracing the philosophies of yoga has brought her health and happiness in her life and helped her bring up two children, now teenagers. She encourages all her students to learn and develop their yoga at a pace suitable for them as individuals.

JAN
Jan Baxter is a certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher. She first gained her Iyengar Yoga Teaching Certificate in 1995. She feels Yoga embraces all aspects of her life. Yoga has sustained her throughout all the challenges life presents, supported her throughout pregnancies and births and enhanced her physical and mental well being. Jan has studied at the Iyengar Institute in Pune, India and is constantly studying and refining her Yoga Practice.
Jan’s passion is to teach in a way that students gain the love and understanding of Yoga that she experiences. The Iyengar method allows people of all ages and abilities to practice Yoga as the postures (asanas) can be adapted with the use of props to allow students to practice safely and with a better understanding of alignment. |

LAUREN PENNING
Lauren has a wealth of information on the prenatal and post natal periods gleaned from her years of guiding women through these times: She has taught countless prenatal classes over many. Lauren's special interest in pregnancy and birthing led her to complete specialised pre and postnatal teacher trainings, and she is also a doula, and a calm birth practitioner. One of the most popular teacher's in the history of Life Source, Lauren's students appreciate her calm, caring ways, and her spacious style of teaching means her students are frequently familiar with the elevating euphoria a good yoga practice brings. Lauren is proud mum to Phoenix. |

MARK
Mark has studied, practiced and loved yoga his whole life. He was born into yoga. His mother and uncle were both yoga teachers… Mark's goal is to take yoga back to it's original purpose, to assist people toward their highest potential. This passion has seen him immerse himself in the practice and study of all things spiritual and having been fortunate enough to be close to many great teachers understood that the common thread of their teachings is to open the heart and live an authentic life.
Mark's knowledge and experience of both the technical and spiritual aspects of yoga has led him to the top of his chosen field, yoga teacher education. He is recognised as a “teacher of teachers” and the real deal, using his grounded, down-to-earth approach to take ancient knowledge to the everyday. He teaches from the heart and these teachings are life-changing. Mark takes yoga to a totally new level in the understanding and application of yoga. |

MARDI
Mardi is known throughout Sydney for her playful yoga classes—that still pack a wallop. More than anything though, it is her spontaneous and delightful personality, continually curious and infectiously warm, that inspires her students. Mardi directed a yoga centre for many years, she has often contributed to the media and has taught and organized countless retreats and workshops reaching thousands of people from all walks of life, from corporate executives to at-risk teenagers. |

MICHELLE
With over 20 years experience in the fitness industry, Michelle’s Bachelor in Modern Dance led her to discover Pilates. Michelle’s classes feel highly personal and her students appreciate the variety which keeps each class fresh. Michelle loves seeing her students develop a deeper understanding of their bodies. |

REMY
Remy has always had a passion for exploring edges. In 2002, after being part of the first expedition to row down the 5th longest river in the world - through Mongolia and Siberia - Remy began to move his passion for exploration towards the inner journey with his yoga practice. He completed a year of intensive yoga study in Asia with masters of diverse backgrounds. Remy teaches classes offering an appropriate practice for each individual within the group.
Remy loves the system of yoga because it is both flexible and nuanced; it offers an appropriate practice for everybody; it is open to change, welcoming new information about wellness and spirituality; and it invites people to discover what works for them. Remy's specialities include power yoga, inversions and pranayama. He also brings a strong knowledge of anatomy and alignment to class.

RICHARD
From an international performing career that saw him dancing across the USA, Europe and Australia, Richard teaches an invigorating and dynamic combination of yoga. His classes feature creative sequencing, music and a deeply satisfying flow of breath and movement. In his classes you will stretch and strengthen your body, calm and centre your mind, and uplift your spirit. Richard's tremendous physical capabilities took him to be one of Australias most advanced practitioners in ashtanga yoga, and he now enjoys teaching Jivamukti yoga. Richard is a keen student of spiritual and Yogic texts. He recently completed a PhD in creative arts focusing on yogic spiritual ideas in relation to art practice, culminating in the release of his latest publication, the book The Kamikaze Mind.
