Yin Yoga on Wednesday 6:45pm

A few of you asked for evening classes.

And we heard you and we are putting it on! Starting with Yin Yoga on every Wednesday 6:45-7:45pm.

A nice way to get over the ‘hump day’, Yin Yoga consists of longer holds with mostly floor poses that allows you to go deeper both physically and energetically. These yoga poses works with specific meridians or ‘chi’ (energy) channels. So, longer these poses for 2-5 minutes encourages gently stretching and releasing of the connective tissues (ligaments and fascia)  and helps open our back, shoulders and hips. Plus, the longer hold allows time for you to focus on your breath and the subtle energy body.

Regular practice of Yin Yoga improves your body in a variety of ways, which include:

  • Feeling calm and balanced
  • Increase energy levels
  • Improved health and lower stress level
  • Better flexibility to complement your more vigorous exercise or Yoga practice

Yin Yoga is suitable for all levels including beginners and more experienced practitioners.
